Dr. Miroslav Radojevic, Associate Professor. School of Science and Technology, Univeristy Malaysia Sabah.

Professor, Dr. Vladimir Bashkin is the author of 22 books, including Modern Biogeochemistry and Environmental Chemistry: Asian lessons (by Kluwer), and more than 100 papers. Under his supervision more than 20 PhD and DrSc dissertations were presented in various countries and universities. He is the board member of 5 international journals in field of environmental pollution. During 5 yr period he was selected as a vice-chairman of Working Group of Effects (scientific committee) of UN/EC Long-Range Trans-boundary Air Pollution Convention.

I work in behavioral health as a TSS. I read the reviews and saw that I didn't have to be a therapist to use it. It's super user friendly and fun to use. I think it's great that the book is designed to use by sections/in order but it doesn't have to be used that way. The kids love the feeling barometer (we call it the feelings wheel) and identifying the different emotions through cartoon exercises. The coping cards and things have me really excited to reuse and reuse. It is really valuable. Nothing I don't like about it.

I like JT'S Punktown series but Beyond the Door wasn't that great. Also very short for the money.

Stories From the Men's Room

This isn't a short story collection, but it is.

A man accidentally opens a bathroom stall only to find that it's occupied.
Miffed, the man says "Where I come from, we lock the door to the bathroom stall", and from there the game is on. What ensues are a bunch of short stories that are traded by the two men, one in the stall and the other out, most of them starting with "Where I come from"...

It sounds like a strange premise, and I guess it is, but I enjoyed the heck out of it. The stories were very cool,(especially the one regarding the headless woman whose picture is on the cover), strange and unique. I will be checking out more works by this author in the future.

Beyond The Door by Jeffrey Thomas was a book recommendation I'm glad I took.

Mankind, in particular, men, have a tendency to compete with each other. In Beyond the Door, Jeffrey Thomas harnesses that one-upmanship and competitive nature and leads you through a series of strange, bizarre stories as narrated by his two main characters, both strangers, talking through a bathroom stall door, each story being told getting wilder and more extraordinary than the last!

I enjoyed the interplay, mystery and anonymity between the two main characters, and though I wanted more, the ending did leave me with the feeling that there were plenty more stories still to come, particularly from Gosston...

I look forward to exploring more titles from Jeffrey Thomas :)
